Who is behind it

NSUS Group was founded in 2014 and runs the GGPoker network. Our data gives Canada as its home country. It bought the World Series of Poker brand and rights from Caesars for $500m: $250m in cash plus a $250m note. The deal closed on 29 October 2024. Caesars still runs WSOP.com in some US states under licence.

License and what it means for you

Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany are strict regulators. Their self-exclusion systems, Spelpaus, Cruks and OASIS, cover all sites with a licence in that country. An iGaming Ontario registration covers players in Ontario only. Some GGPoker sites run under Kahnawake authorisations held by Puretech International Ltd. That is an offshore licence with much less protection.

Sister sites

GGPoker is one brand with many country sites. Our data also lists a Brazilian GGPoker site under Kahnawake as a country version.

Fines and regulator actions

We found no fines or regulator actions against NSUS or GGPoker in our data.
