We collect as little as possible. We use no cookies for tracking, no analytics and no advertising trackers. This page explains what we process, why, and your rights.

What we process

• Visiting the site. To show a page, our server receives your IP address and browser details. We do not store them in our database. Our hosting provider (Railway) may keep short technical logs.
• Your country. To decide which licences and partner links apply to you, our server looks up the country of your IP address in a database on our own server (DB-IP Lite). Your IP address is not sent anywhere for this, and we do not store the result.
• Reviews and correction reports. If you post one, we store what you write (rating, title, text, display name, optional country code and payout answers). Reviews are published after moderation. To prevent abuse (limits per day, one review per brand) we also store a one-way, salted code made from your IP address, not the address itself.
• "Helpful" votes. We store the same salted code to count one vote per visitor.
• Partner-link clicks. We count clicks per brand, country and day. We store nothing that identifies you.
• The chat assistant. If the AI chat is switched on, your chat messages are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to create the answer. Do not type personal data into the chat. We do not store chat messages.
• Fonts and images load from our own server. We use no third-party fonts or scripts.

Why (legal basis)

We process this data to run the site and to protect it against abuse (legitimate interest), and to publish the reviews you choose to submit.

How long

Reviews stay until they are removed. The salted code is kept with the review, report or vote it belongs to. Click counts contain no personal data.

Hosting and transfers

The site is hosted by Railway. The AI chat, when switched on, uses Anthropic. These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data, and you can object to processing. Write to hello@ultimateowner.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
