Are BetMGM (Sweden, betmgm.se) and LeoVegas owned by the same company?
Yes — BetMGM (Sweden, betmgm.se) and LeoVegas are both owned by MGM Resorts International (both through LeoVegas Group). They run under different companies of the same group: MGMNordic Ltd and LeoVegas Gaming PLC. The owner link for BetMGM (Sweden, betmgm.se) is reported, not verified: it comes from press reports, not from a licence register or the brand’s own terms.

Do they share a licence or company?
No. They run under different companies of the same group: MGMNordic Ltd and LeoVegas Gaming PLC. A shared owner is still on record: MGM Resorts International is at the top of both owner chains.
What this means for players
Same owner often means the same terms, the same support team and the same payout rules. A self-exclusion at one brand may not cover its sister sites. Check each brand’s terms before you rely on a self-exclusion; a national scheme (such as GamStop in the UK or Spelpaus in Sweden) covers every licensed site in that country.
